Sector Development & Training

Explore how you and your organisation can enhance mental health practice.

Through our sector development initiatives, training courses, projects, expertise and collaboration, WAAMH develops the capability of the community-managed mental health sector to deliver recovery-orientated, person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally-inclusive services.

Our sector development team offers a range of services, including courses targeted to meet specific needs of the mental health workforce, enhance the skill development of roles which relate to mental health, and educate the wider community. Technical services provided by our IPS WORKS team are helping more mental health services and employment services to build their own capacity in supporting people with persistent mental health challenges to find meaningful work as a vehicle for recovery.
