Sector Strategic Framework

The Sector Strategic Framework Report was developed to:

• Describe the key principles and processes that support better lives for people with mental illness and their families.
•  Outline the federal and state governments policy context shaping the direction of community managed mental health services now and into the future. 
• Identify the current investments and investment intentions of governments in developing and expanding community managed mental health sector in Western Australia.
• Introduce a framework by which the community managed mental health sector can effectively engage with the changed agenda.

This framework has been developed in partnership with people who use services, carers, family members and service providers and overseen by a steering group with broad representation from the sector.
