Professional Lived Experience Speaking

When people with lived experience share their stories confidently and purposefully, they have the power to influence attitudes and create meaningful change.
This is a crucial part of raising awareness and reducing the stigma of mental ill-health and recovery.
That's why we've developed a series of workshops to support people with lived experience to create ethical, sustainable and impactful public presentations for use in advocacy or training.
Designed for people with lived experience, by people with Lived Experience, Sharing Professionally supports people to:
- refine their narratives,
- build presentation skills,
- develop robust self-care strategies for before, during and after professional speaking events.
The workshops take a strengths-based approach to storytelling, and groups are limited to ten participants only, to create a safe environment where personalised support can be made available.
