How can our IPS Works team help?

We currently provide training, mentoring, fidelity support and conduct fidelity reviews for 50 headspace centres and two Medicare Mental Health Centres across Australia. Our IPS Works team also support providers such as Ruah Community Services, Community Bridging Services and Youth Focus to deliver IPS programs to their clients.

Whether you're interested in implementing an IPS program at your site or you're already delivering IPS, we've got a range of support services that can assist you.

IPS Mentoring & Training

Our IPS Works team have an in-depth knowledge of the technical and theoretical foundations of the IPS model.

Prior to implementation, our team can work with your leadership team and an IPS champion from within your organisation, to ensure they understand the tenants of IPS. Our one-on-one mentoring approach is unique and personalised to your needs.

We also offer a range of IPS training courses:

Specifically designed for an IPS steering committee and/or leadership team in the early stages of IPS program delivery, this interactive workshop reinforces the eight core practice principles of IPS, explores mechanisms of leadership and partnership, and reviews the necessity of monitoring and evaluating your IPS program.

Supervision is an integral part of leading a team of dynamic and innovative IPS employment specialists. In this course, you'll learn to recognise exemplary skills to help you recruit IPS staff, model a strengths-based approach, and mentor employment specialists to improve outcomes for clients and the fidelity of your program.

In this course, you'll gain the confidence to engage job seekers with specific mental health support needs, develop individualised employment plans, and write resumes that will attract the perfect job matches. You'll learn practical ways to utilise the community as a rich resource of potential jobs, and build effective employer relationships.

Fidelity Support & Fidelity Reviews

Let us help you to prepare for a comprehensive, independent fidelity review, so you can strive for exemplary IPS fidelity and have confidence in the quality of your program.

Having been trained by the IPS Employment Centre in the USA, with several years’ combined experience, we appreciate first-hand the competencies that are required for an exemplary IPS program.

Our reviewers assess the quality of IPS implementation and service delivery, while undertaking a series of observations, interviews and document reviews.

We offer pre-fidelity support services, independent external fidelity reviews, fidelity reports and action plans.
