WA Mental Health Week is coordinated by the WA Association for Mental Health, with support from the Mental Health Commission. In 2020, it will be from 10-17 October, when hopefully we can all reconnect socially and physically again, rejoice, recover and reflect on one of the biggest years our health system and economy has ever faced in most of our lifetimes. Stay safe everyone, look out for others and reach out for help if you are feeling overwhelmed. Stay in touch on the phone with loved ones and let's re-connect properly again by October.
Strengthening our community in 2020 - it's going to be the toughest year most of us will ever face and it's Mental Health Week every week this year, self care, routine, supporting others and moments of meditation and calmness when you can will help us all get through. Stay tuned to the Mental Health Week Facebook page for tips, advice, making sense of and making the most of these difficult months ahead.
Wishing all our essential service personnel, political decision makers and those health care professionals on the frontline strength and stamina at this time. Thank you for all you are doing.
