Lamp's members consist of people living in the community with severe and persistent mental health disorders, their families and carers. Drop in support centres are located in Busselton, Margaret River and Bridgetown. Lamp community support workers help to improve a range of skills for people with a mental illness, such as personal care, cooking, budgeting and other home management tasks, to enable consumers to live more independently and with confidence.

Personalised Support

Independent Living Skills Support - Providing support to peoples living with mental health issues Mental housing and housing support (NPAH Housing Support Workers Mental Health)- support workers assist people with severe and persistent mental illness Support for Day to Day Living in the Community Program Structured and socially based activity programs. Youth psycho-social support and education - Aims to enhance the wellbeing of young people in the community embracing early intervention

Who it's for

Adults with severe and persistent mental illness who live independently in the community. Adults who are exiting Specialist Mental Health Services and need support to access and maintain long term stable accommodation. People with severe and persistent mental illness who experience social isolation. Young people aged 13-17 with mental health concerns.

Family & Carer Support

Carers Education and Support. The carer support service offers education, support and skills development opportunities to those caring for a person with a psychiatric illness. Family Mental Health Support Service (Carers support and respite) Provides support for families and young people, promoting a positive mental health personal independence, social well being and community inclusion.
