Group Support Activities

The day programs at Bethesda Clinic are evidence-based and facilitated by experienced, accredited mental health professionals. Programs run throughout the year, with an approximate wait list of 1-6 weeks, depending on the program. Programs available are: Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD), Mood and Anxiety, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma Recovery.

The inpatient program offers individual and group-based therapeutic interventions provided by highly skilled multidisciplinary teams. The Clinic offers one on one interventions to assist in addressing the psychosocial needs that may be impacting on you maintaining optimal mental health in your community. Our inpatient programs encourage a sense of empowerment by recognising an individual's strength and promoting skill building to help with improved functioning in day-to-day life.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is an effective treatment for individuals who experience frequent and intense changes in their emotional state, often leading to self-defeating behaviours. Research has shown that DBT helps people experiencing emotional dysregulation learn new skills to manage overwhelming emotions without resorting to self-harming behaviours.
