Applications for lived experience & regional subsidised tickets and travel are now OPEN

LIVED EXPERIENCE SUBSIDY TICKETS

Conference host and peak body for community mental health, the Western Australian Association for Mental Health is committed to ensuring there is strong lived experience representation and participation at the WA Mental Health Conference 2022.

Therefore, we are offering heavily subsidised tickets to this two-day learning and collaborative experience, thanks to Lotterywest, which means if selected you only have to pay 10% of the overall registration cost to attend the event.

To be eligible for a lived experience ticket to the WA Mental Health Conference 2022 you must have lived or living experience as a consumer, carer or family member, be unwaged or on a pension/low income and reside in WA.

Completing this application form does not secure your ticket. You will receive confirmation from us in the New Year with a link to finalise the purchase.

We also have a small amount of funding allocated to assist you with travel to the conference (if you are based in regional WA, please complete the regional subsidy form).

Applying for a subsidised ticket does not guarantee you a discounted ticket to this event. We will contact you if you are successful or unsuccessful in granting you a discounted ticket.

Applications close 18 February 2022.

REGIONAL TICKETS AND TRAVEL SUBSIDIES

We are committed to ensuring there is strong representation from people living and working in regional, rural and remote parts of WA at the Mental Health Conference 2022.

We understand Perth-based major events may cause physical and financial barriers in attendance preventing people living regionally to participate.

Therefore, we are offering heavily subsidised tickets to this two-day learning and collaborative experience thanks to Lotterywest, which means if selected you only have to pay 10% of the overall registration cost to attend the event.

We can also help by offering financial assistance towards travel and accommodation costs. To be eligible for a regional ticket to the 2022 WA Mental Health Conference you must reside in regional WA (outside of the Perth Metropolitan or Peel areas).

Completing this application form does not secure your ticket. You will receive confirmation from us in the New Year with a link to finalise the purchase and associated logistics.

Applying for a subsidised ticket does not guarantee you a discounted ticket to this event. We will contact you if you are successful or unsuccessful in granting you a discounted ticket.

Ticket subsidy nominations close 18 February 2022.
