COVID-19 

WAAMH will continue to follow health guidelines and COVID-19 Government policy when implementing public health measures for our large public events, to help keep the community safe  this may include practical adjustments at our conference such as live streaming, social distancing, hygiene stations, mask use and proof of vaccination to attend. 

While acknowledging that public health advice can change very quickly, we will endeavour to keep all WAAMH event attendees informed in a timely manner of any modifications to these requirements. WAAMH also encourages all attendees to stay up-to-date with COVID-19 requirements in WA via the State Government's latest updates webpage.

Lived experience delegates 

Applications for scholarships have now closed.

If you have lived experience as a consumer, carer or family member and are unwaged or on low income, you may be eligible for a scholarship to the conference, thanks to funding assistance from Lotterywest, and administered by WAAMH. This could mean you only pay 10% of the overall cost to attend the conference and we can help with travel arrangements. You may also be able to bring your support person along with you. The conference is equipped with a calming, quiet space, the Wellbeing Zone staffed with support workers, in the event any content or discussion at the conference is distressing or triggering. 

Regional, rural and remote delegates

If you live in a rural, remote or regional part of Western Australia (outside of Perth and Peel regions) you may be eligible for a scholarship to attend the conference at a heavily discounted price and receive financial assistance towards accommodation and travel expenses, thanks to funding assistance from Lotterywest and administered by WAAMH.
