Participants in this course will develop a better understanding of what trauma is, its prevalence and the importance of embedding a trauma-informed approach in all practice.
FREE Workshop for Full Member organisations only
Target Audience: For frontline workers in the community mental health sector.
Understanding trauma and its impacts, and well as how to respond to individuals in a trauma-informed way are important skills in the mental health worker’s toolkit.
Participants will develop their skills in making adjustments in their work to set achievable recovery goals and will learn how to apply the principles of Trauma Informed Care.

The successful applicants to be advised one week prior to the commencement of the course. It is important to note, places are limited. Only applicants who can genuinely confirm they will be available to attend this free workshop are encouraged to submit an expression of interest for consideration.
