Speak out about what matters: Mental health and your local communities
While you are in Perth for the WA Mental Health Conference, please join us to speak face-to-face about the needs of people affected by mental health issues and the issues affecting mental health organisations.
The event provides an opportunity for participants to help inform Western Australian Association for Mental Health’s systemic advocacy and sector development work, by sharing your views on the issues that matter most to you.
This consultation conversation is also an opportunity to connect with service provider representatives, consumers and carers in different communities.
This free event is open to consumers, carers and organisational representatives from regional, rural and remote areas.
We want to know:
- What is happening on the ground in your local communities?
- What is at the top of your concerns list? What issues are you or your organisations facing?
- What is it that we need to know or do so that WA services meet the needs of people experiencing mental health issues and their families in rural and remote WA?
Consumers of Mental Health WA (CoMHWA) will attend to provide brief information about their organisation, the services and opportunities it provides.
Please register to attend below or for information, contact Chelsea McKinney, Manager Systemic Advocacy firstname.lastname@example.org | 08 6246 3003
