This course will explore and provide information on the range and prevalence of mental health challenges in our communities.
FREE Workshop for Full Member organisations only
Target Audience: For new workers in the community mental health sector.
Mental health challenges affect many of us at various points in our lives. This workshop will provide information on the range and prevalence of mental health challenges in our communities. It will help participants to understand the signs, symptoms and responses to mental health challenges and it emphasises the importance of strengths-based and empowerment approaches to supporting people with mental health challenges. The session will also discuss the social determinants of health and how these intersect with mental wellbeing.
Register your interest by - 2 March 2020. Please note the course places will be shared across organisations.
The successful applicants to be advised one week prior to the commencement of the course. It is important to note, places are limited. Only applicants who can genuinely confirm they will be available to attend this free workshop are encouraged to submit an expression of interest for consideration.
