Mindfulness is a powerful, but easy to learn mental technique which is increasingly recognised as a key to stress reduction, mental wellbeing, managing emotions, dealing with adversity and supporting personal healing.
Drawing on Eastern philosophies but supported by a Western evidence-base, mindfulness involves learning how to focus the awareness and develop a conscious experience of the present.
Mindfulness is clinically proven to aid healing and improve a wide range of medical disorders including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, PTSD + OCD.

Workshop to be presented over two Wednesday evenings.
There are two scholarship places available for consumers or carers who face financial difficulty in attending this course. Scholarship applications close 10 days prior to course and the successful applicants will be notified five business days prior to commencement of the event.
The cost will be 10% of the course rate.
