This engaging and stimulating course, invites mental health workers to explore the principals of Recovery oriented practice and find ways to better support consumers’ recovery journey.
With a focus on person-centred care, this workshop will identify ways staff can encourage self-determination of mental health and develop skills in personalised, strength-based care which is responsive to individual circumstances and preferences

- Holistic Recovery
- Traditional vs Recovery approaches

- Utilise consumer expertise

- Recognise consumer expertise
- Reflective practice for staff
There are two scholarship places available for consumers or carers who face financial difficulty in attending this course. Scholarship applications close 10 days prior to course and the successful applicants will be notified five business days prior to commencement of the event.
The cost will be 10% of the course rate.
