    WA Mental Health Conference 2017

    The WA Association for Mental Health, with the support of the WA Mental Health Commission, is delighted to announce that we are hosting the WA Mental Health Conference at the Perth Concert Hall in Perth on 13-14 July 2017!

    There are a range of subsidies available.

    Co-existing Disorders, Addiction & Mental Health-29/08/2017

    This one-day workshop examines the complex relationship between substance use or addiction and mental health problems. Learn about the relationship between substance use and mental health issues and how one causes the other and why they so often will occur together.

    Mental Health Week 2017

    In 2017, Mental Health Week is celebrating 50 years. This year will have a strong focus on regional WA and connecting with nature, community and self for mental wellbeing. 

    The Opening Ceremony is expected to be held in Kalgoorlie.

    Borderline Personality Disorder National Conference 2017

    The National Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) conference draws on a strong history of successful national events around Australia, and October 2017 marks the inaugural Western Australian event.

    We expect to attract delegates from every corner of Australia to this landmark event, and represent a significant step forward for the advancement of knowledge, awareness and services for this complex mental illness.

    The 2017 conference is being organised as a partnership between the Australian BPD Foundation and the WA Association for Mental Health.
