    Recovery Stories Training

    This training is built around using stories of lived experience to engage mental health consumers and the wider community in promoting mental wellbeing.

    This project is a great opportunity for participants to:

    • Build confidence and have fun
    • Develop communication and public speaking skills
    • Refine your own personal stories to suit audiences
    • Learn advanced storytelling and audience engagement skills
    • Discover ways to use your personal experiences to help others

      

    Participation includes:

    • attending 12 Monday evening workshops
    • personal feedback and coaching
    • performance opportunities
    • the chance for interested people to obtain paid storytelling work, following the course
