The course will facilitate; an increased knowledge of what common triggers are; an understanding of the “escalation curve”, the stages of escalated behaviour and how the “escalated brain” responds.

Target Audience: For frontline workers in the community mental health sector.
What goes up can come down... the age old adage applies to escalated behaviours too…
During this course, participants will develop an understanding of factors that can lead to escalated behaviours. Participants will learn about the use of body language as part of the de-escalation process and will become familiar with a range of de-escalation techniques.
Register your interest by - 4 March 2020. Please note the course places will be shared across organisations.
The successful applicants to be advised one week prior to the commencement of the course. It is important to note, places are limited. Only applicants who can genuinely confirm they will be available to attend this free workshop are encouraged to submit an expression of interest for consideration.
